Utopia Industries is actively seeking a highly experienced and result-driven Manager / Sr. Manager Industrial Engineering to lead lean initiatives and drive process improvement within its Plastic-Metal Division. The role demands a strategic thinker and a hands-on professional who can not only manage complex manufacturing systems but also champion productivity and efficiency improvements across the board.

The selected individual will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating industrial engineering projects with a strong emphasis on lean manufacturing, cost reduction, and operational efficiency. You will play a pivotal role in shaping process standards, reducing waste, optimizing production flows, and improving manufacturing performance across all areas under the Plastic-Metal Division.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Leading the industrial engineering function to streamline operations and enhance productivity across plastic and metal production lines.

• Designing and implementing lean systems and tools such as time and motion studies, value stream mapping, and process simulations.

• Collaborating closely with production, maintenance, quality, and planning departments to eliminate bottlenecks and enhance workflow.

• Analyzing production data and processes to identify inefficiencies and propose innovative solutions for performance improvement.

• Developing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.

• Coordinating continuous improvement initiatives and driving Six Sigma/Lean Manufacturing methodologies.

• Monitoring KPIs and presenting reports to senior leadership with actionable insights and improvement plans.

• Mentoring and guiding the IE team and production staff on best practices and industrial engineering techniques.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Demonstrated leadership in industrial engineering roles within plastic or metal manufacturing.

• Strong command of lean tools and industrial automation practices.

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment.
