Sr. Manager

 

Description:

To manage, supervise, and ensure the effective operation, maintenance, and safety of all biomedical equipment in the hospital, while leading the biomedical team and coordinating with clinical departments for uninterrupted healthcare services.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee installation, calibration, maintenance, and repair of all biomedical equipment across hospital campuses
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements for biomedical devices.
  • Manage preventive and corrective maintenance schedules to minimize downtime of critical equipment.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for procurement, warranty claims, and service contracts of medical equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of all biomedical equipment, including inventory, service history, and performance reports.
  • Train and supervise biomedical engineers and technicians, ensuring skill enhancement and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Ensure proper disposal or decommissioning of outdated or faulty equipment in line with hospital policy.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies and equipment upgrades to improve hospital services.

REQUIREMENTS:

· Academic Qualification: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering (or related discipline).

· Work Experience: 7–10 years of relevant experience, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial/supervisory role in a hospital or healthcare setting.
