Sr. Devops Engineer

Description:

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior DevOps Engineer located in Islamabad, with some work-from-home flexibility. The Senior DevOps Engineer will be responsible for automating and managing infrastructure, implementing continuous integration and delivery pipelines, overseeing system administration tasks, and ensuring the high availability of Linux-based systems. The role requires close collaboration with software development teams to enhance productivity and streamline development processes.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in a DevOps or similar role
• Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and techniques (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD)
• Strong Linux system administration skills
• Solid understanding of software development workflows and version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional (mandatory)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Familiarity with multi-cloud platforms (especially AWS; Azure is a plus)
