Sr. Database Developer

Description:

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Database Developerto design, optimize, and maintain secure, high-performance database systems for data-intensive and high-traffic applications. You’ll work closely with engineering, product, and DevOps teams to ensure scalability, reliability, and data integrity.
🔹𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬
Design and maintain database schemas, tables, indexes, views, stored procedures, triggers, and functions
Develop and optimize complex SQL queries and stored procedures for performance and scalability
Monitor database performance and resolve bottlenecks
Manage database migrations, versioning, backups, and recovery
Implement security, access control, and data protection best practices
Support high-concurrency environments and large datasets
Collaborate with backend and DevOps teams on CI/CD and database integrations
🔹 𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬
Strong proficiency in SQL
5+ years of experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server)
Hands-on experience with stored procedures, views, triggers, indexes, and functions
Strong understanding of query optimization, execution plans, ACID properties, transactions, and locking
Experience with high-availability and performance-critical systems
Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Experience with cloud databases (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Exposure to monitoring tools and CI/CD pipelines
Knowledge of NoSQL databases and data-sensitive domains
