Sqa Engineer

Description:

AKSA SDS is currently hiring passionate and detail-oriented SQA Engineers to join our growing technology team in Islamabad. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong foundation in software quality assurance and a keen interest in both manual and automation testing within agile environments.

As an SQA Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive test plans and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. You will play a key role in identifying defects, maintaining test scripts, and using tools like Cypress or Appium to perform rigorous testing routines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts

• Conduct thorough functional and regression testing on software products

• Perform both manual and automation testing using industry-standard tools

• Identify, log, and track software defects to ensure timely resolution

• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to uphold quality standards

• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and align testing practices with the software development lifecycle

• Generate and present regular testing status reports to stakeholders

• Utilize automation testing frameworks such as Cypress and Appium

• Ensure adherence to Agile methodologies and practices

• Apply strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to testing processes

• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders

• Exhibit the ability to work independently as well as within a collaborative team environment

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

• 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in SQA roles

• Familiarity with automation frameworks and QA tools

• Sound knowledge of Agile processes and software development lifecycle

• Excellent communication, reporting, and time-management skills
