Establish a test process in collaboration with Product and Tech and ensure its implementation for both Thai and Pakistan teams.
Regularly meet with product managers to determine test scenarios and parameters.
Analyse and break down user stories into detailed test cases to ensure all possible scenarios are catered for.
Write test documents which include test plans, test cases, and test reports. Submit and present the reports on a regular basis to product and tech.
Follow the product development process and have the above test documents attached to required product tickets in Notion or other tools in a timely manner.
Conduct testing for every QA deployment from tech. Demo the app on a regular schedule for Product acceptance before live.
Report bugs, and write them up in a clear and structured way. Ensure the tech team understands the bugs and follows through the fixes for a timely release.
Follow up on bug reports from the team and write tests to account for them
For data-intensive tests, prepare test data that can be used by Tech. Write needed SQL scripts according to test scenarios and have them in the dev database.
Required background:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
At least 1-2 years of previous experience as a Software Automation Tester or QA Automation Engineer.
Extremely detail-oriented. Ability to spot tiny faults that may not be noticed by others.
SQL experience and familiarity with JavaScript and Python is a significant advantages.
Able to write clear and highly structured documents.
Proactively manage own tasks within the timeline. Will not get lost in many incoming requests
