Speech Therapist

Description:

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Speech Therapist located in North Nazimabad. The responsibilities include assessing and diagnosing speech, language, and communication disorders in children. The Speech Therapist will design and implement therapy plans tailored to individual needs, employing methods such as the Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), use of AAC devices, and PLS-5 evaluations. Close collaboration with parents, caregivers, and other health professionals to monitor progress and update therapy strategies is required. Additionally, the role involves documenting and maintaining accurate client reports.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in speech therapy techniques such as PECS, AAC devices, and PLS-5 evaluations
• Strong observational, diagnostic, and intervention skills for speech and language disorders
• Effective collaboration and communication abilities to work with families and other therapists
• Organizational and documentation skills, including maintaining accurate client records
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field and relevant certification
• Experience working with children, especially those with neurological or developmental conditions, is preferred
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to therapy
