What the first 30-60-90 days in the job will look like?
-Within 30 days you will:
Attend and graduate from our company-wide on boarding process along with detailed orientation program where you will learn Jazz’s values, business, and products. Meet with the People & Organization team to understand the strategy of the function in line with Organization strategy and company road map. Have meetings, with members of other teams to understand how each function at Jazz contributes to the overall success. Understand the function and processes of Network Operations Centre in Technology, role and responsibilities of team within organization.
-Within 60 days, you will:
Get acquainted with wide array of OSS / NMS Platforms at NOC in addition to first hand insight into Standard Operating Procedures, Intra-domain & Inter-Domain interfaces, Roles & Responsibilities.
-Within 90 days to onwards you will:
Completely take over Administration of all NOC Platforms & Systems, Interfacing with Vendor(s) and develop through understanding of NOC Connectivity with MPBN & Enterprise Networks.
Start independently conducting regular health checks & highlight anomalies / risks and design risk mitigation strategies in consultation with management. Lead all planned and emergency activities on NOC platforms and engage all stakeholders including but not limited to Technology Teams & Vendors.

A bit about you:
We are looking for someone who has already worked on Administration of various IT Platforms with hands on experience of System Administration & Networks. Must have good understanding of prevailing technologies desirably having exposure towards Huawei & ZTE RAN Products.
Having excellent communication & cognitive skills to leverage horizontal as well as vertical growth. Strategic thinking ability and collaborative attitude is also amongst the sought skills.
A bit about us:
Network Operations Center (NOC) is essentially responsible for Supervision & Monitoring of various network functions including but not limited to RAN, Core, IT, IN / VAS, Transport & Fixed Enterprise Networks. These domains are supported by extensive automation for fault management & monitoring via OSS Solutions, which primarily fall under System Admin Team.
The structure of the team you will join is:
Sys Administration & OSS Team comprises of 8 Team members in total, the team primarily responsible for Platform Administration, OSS Automation & App Development Initiatives both within & outside NOC. The team reports to Manager NOC OSS & System Admin.
Essential skills must have:
2 - 5 year experience within Telecommunication Environment.
Excellent Understanding of IT Platforms, especially NMS Servers (Huawei, ZTE, Nokia, Ericsson).
Strong knowledge of DCN network connectivity, HA, DR, load balancing Configurations and node migrations.
Conversant with Fault Management Procedures & Industry Practices.
Deep understanding of Network Operations Environment.
Be able to work at Office during Night Hours & Holidays to look over critical emergency & planned activities.
Customer Centric Approach to facilitate the internal customer teams.
2 years of Specific experience as OSS Back Office/ Integration Engineer/ System administrator of Huawei U2000/CME/PRS equipment/IPTNMS.
Good knowledge of Linux, Solaris & Windows System administration.
CCNA / CCNP and other networks related certifications will be an added advantage.
Good Communication and Presentations Skills.
Job description includes:
• Responsible for Administration of NMS Servers & Provide Level 1 Support for Troubleshooting of reported Issues.
• Close Supervision of all Planned & Emergency activities conducted by vendor(s) during Night & Day Hours to ensure plan adherence.
• Coordinate & Escalate with vendor(s) for resolution of L2 & L3 Issues.
• Ensure System Backups & Integration of all platforms with IT Backup Solution.
• Administration of PABX and coordination with vendor for issues requiring support.
• Conduct Periodic Health Checks of all Servers / Platforms and raise anomalies at appropriate level.
• Act as Point of Contact for all Network Related Queries / Activities from NOC Side including support for connectivity with ISB / LHR Data Centers.
• Provide support for Patch Management & Upgrades of all Platforms.
• Administration of NOC Video Wall.
• Development of workflows & reports on IBM Service Desk (Maximo).
• Administration of File Servers.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by Line Manager.
