Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Major Job Responsibilities

• Perform automation testing of web-based applications.
• Maintain and update test plans, test cases, scenarios, scripts, and procedures.
• Execute manual functional and automation testing based on analysis and understanding of requirements.
• Conduct functional testing to ensure developed features are complete and performing as expected.
• Identify, record, and track bugs or issues to resolution.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Familiarity with PHP-based applications, particularly Laravel and WordPress.
• Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver or Cypress.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure quality across the software development lifecycle.
• Knowledge of programming languages like JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Basic understanding of scripting, data handling, and software deployment procedures.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
