Software Quality Assurance Engineer

We’re seeking a skilled and proactive Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer with 3-5 years of experience to join our growing team. This person should have a strong theoretical understanding of QA concepts, a problem-solving mindset, and hands-on experience testing eCommerce, social networking, and service-based applications.

The ideal candidate will be well-versed in black box testing techniques, with practical knowledge of platforms like Shopify, CMS systems, Magento, Squarespace, and React Native. Key Responsibilities:

-Review and understand product requirements and specifications to design and execute effective test cases.

Perform various types of black box testing, including functional, regression, system, UI/UX, smoke, and sanity testing.

-Test across web and mobile platforms, especially on applications built using Shopify, CMS platforms, Magento, Squarespace, and React Native.

-Identify bugs and inconsistencies, document them clearly, and work closely with developers to get them resolved quickly.

-Ensure high-quality releases by participating in all phases of the testing lifecycle.

-Proactively identify areas of improvement in the testing process and contribute to QA best practices.

-Analyze issues from both a technical and user perspective, and provide insightful recommendations.

-Work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams including developers, designers, and project managers.
