Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Description:

Zed Consulting is looking for candidates for the position of Software Quality Assurance Engineer.

Location: Lahore, Pakistan (On-site)
Industry: Software Development and IT Services
Salary: 150k - 230k

Responsibilities:

-Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on software requirements.
-Perform manual testing to find defects and usability issues in software applications.
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and provide valuable insights regarding quality concerns.
-Conduct regression testing to verify that existing functionalities are preserved after changes.
-Document and communicate testing results, defects, and other issues effectively to the development team.
-Participate in scrum meetings and contribute to ongoing project discussions.
-Stay current with industry best practices in software quality assurance.
Requirements

Qualifications:

-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
-3+ years of experience in software quality assurance or testing.
-Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and tools.
-Experience in writing clear and concise test documentation.
-Familiarity with automated testing tools is a plus.
-Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
-Good verbal and written communication skills.
-A team-oriented attitude and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
