Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Description:

Tekfirst is looking for Software Quality Assurance Engineers who can work closely with our development teams. As a member of the QA team, you will create and execute test cases and ensure functional, security and performance requirements are met. You will have a focus on quality, testing strategy and delivering high-quality results in a time-sensitive environment.

Experience Required: 0-1 years

Degree Required: Bachelors in Computer Sciences

• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Proven ability to derive insights from diverse data sources and translate them into clear and precise conclusions and recommendations
• Ability to deal with multiple projects and deadlines
• Proven ability to work independently with limited supervision

Job Description / Responsibilities:

• Able to create test plans and test cases to ensure the shortest test time with the greatest test coverage
• Executes testing
• Completes all assigned work according to the test plan/work assignment.
• Ensures all previously open defects are closed and follow the bug cycle completely
• Troubleshoot and isolate problems to aid development in identifying root-cause of defects
• Technical documentation
