ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Initiate, lead and manage Project Test Strategy, Test Plan, RTM and various reports
- Maintain an excellent working and project knowledge and be the go-to person/PoC for projects
- Hire, build and/or mentor SQE team with industry best practices and leading testing tools
- Advocate and be an example of maintaining a healthy working relationship with team(s)
- Support, lead and work closely with onsite & remote teams in dynamic Scrum environment
- Coordinate with team comprising of BA/SMEs, Developers, UX/UI Engineers, SQE, Sales etc
- Develop and maintain Automation Test Scripts using any leading tools like Cypress or Selenium
- Create and manage UC, US, Test Cases & Test Scripts at HP ALM, Jira, Zephyr, Wrike or similar tools
- Initiate proper communications for getting clarification, QA Sign-off, Daily Defect Report etc
- Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities for multiple parallel projects
- Perform test activities as needed - Manual, Smoke, Sanity, UI, Functional, Regression, SIT, UAT
- Develop timely and accurate QA status reports and communicate to relevant team(s)/meetings
REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, CIS or relevant field, or equivalent years of experience
- Hands on experience with test management tools - Jira, Selenium, Cypress with JS
- Able to perform Usability, Functional, Performance and Security Testing using leading tools
- Ability to multitask and prioritize, while staying organized and detailed oriented
- Exceptional analytical and problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Well-versed with various project management and productivity tools - Jira, Slack, Confluence etc
- Have an outstanding people, leadership, organizational, and time management skills
- Available to work outside of the traditional hours and days to facilitate progress when required
