Responsibilities:

• Conduct broad-based community meetings and stakeholder workshops at the community level.
• Conduct needs assessments and baseline surveys for data collection in the defined project areas.
• Identify and prioritize the most vulnerable/marginalized villages through PRA tools.
• Make initial contacts and introduce the project in the targeted area.
• Carrying out assessments in the flood-affected areas along with the technical team.
• Ensure Beneficiaries Selection Procedure and understood the criteria.
• Inform the beneficiaries of distribution.
• Fill in all the relevant documents at the distribution or any other project.
• Resolve conflict among the target community through effective dialogues.
• Develop case studies to reflect project impacts.
• Form, revitalize, and strengthen community development committees/organizations by ensuring the inclusion of all segments of society on a sustainable basis.
• Sign terms of partnership with committees (Cos/LSO).
• Identify and prioritize the most pressing needs of the communities through PRA tools (issues prioritization)
• Conduct regular meetings with community organizations for raising awareness about their entitlements, such as social and economic rights
• Facilitate and support other sectoral leads on the ground in need of identification/prioritization and verification of the project interventions/activities
• Maintain close coordination with relevant stakeholders working in the project-targeted areas
• Conduct community awareness sessions, such as health and hygiene, and organize various training sessions/workshops/Campaigns/Special Events for the members of local community organizations, such as community participation in development, women in development
• Regularly follow-up and monitor project activities and timely report identified gaps with the best possible solutions
• Facilitate the arrangement of IHP/donors visits to project areas
• Conduct CO/LSO profiling, such as the collection of primary level data for a situation analysis of the communities and compilation of surveys being conducted on various issues in the program/project area
• Preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly work plans.
• Perform related duties and responsibilities as required.
• Perform any task assigned by the line manager as and when required.
