Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Social Media Trainee to support our digital marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate should have 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience and a passion for crafting engaging content, managing social channels, and analyzing performance data. This role is perfect for someone who wants to build a long-term career in social media and digital marketing while working in a creative, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning, scheduling, and publishing content across all social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.)
- Research current social media trends, hashtags, and audience behavior to guide content strategy
- Develop and maintain a structured monthly content calendar in alignment with marketing goals and campaign timelines
- Collaborate closely with the design team to ensure timely delivery of creative assets and visual consistency across channels
- Monitor page engagement, respond to comments/messages where necessary, and escalate issues when needed
- Track performance metrics (reach, engagement, followers) and assist in preparing weekly/monthly reports
- Support campaign execution, influencer outreach, and brainstorming sessions for content ideas and growth initiatives
- Ensure brand voice, tone, and guidelines are followed across all posts and interactions
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Media Sciences, Communication, or a relevant field
- 6 months to 1 year of experience in social media management or digital marketing (internship or job-based)
- Familiarity with key social media platforms and their best practices
- Completion of relevant certifications or courses (e.g., Meta Blueprint, Google Digital Garage, HubSpot Academy) is a plus
- Basic knowledge of tools such as Canva, Buffer, Hootsuite, or Creator Studio
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with an ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Social media savvy, creative, and up-to-date with digital trends
