Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance server-side applications using Node.js and JavaScript.
  • Architect and implement efficient and reusable backend systems and APIs.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other team members to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  • Lead and participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality code standards and best practices.
  • Identify and troubleshoot complex performance bottlenecks and bugs.
  • Implement security and data protection protocols.
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to the team's knowledge sharing.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our stack is modern and effective.

 

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of professional experience in backend development.
  • Proven and strong expertise in Node.js and JavaScript (ES6+) is non-negotiable.
  • Solid experience with RESTful API design and development.
  • Proficiency with database technologies (e.g., MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
  • Experience with version control systems, specifically Git.
  • Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and its quirks.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a solid understanding of data structures and algorithms.
  • Must be based in Lahore and available to work on-site.
  • Ability to start on short notice (Urgent Hiring).
