Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance server-side applications using Node.js and JavaScript.
- Architect and implement efficient and reusable backend systems and APIs.
- Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other team members to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Lead and participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality code standards and best practices.
- Identify and troubleshoot complex performance bottlenecks and bugs.
- Implement security and data protection protocols.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to the team's knowledge sharing.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our stack is modern and effective.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 4+ years of professional experience in backend development.
- Proven and strong expertise in Node.js and JavaScript (ES6+) is non-negotiable.
- Solid experience with RESTful API design and development.
- Proficiency with database technologies (e.g., MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
- Experience with version control systems, specifically Git.
- Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and its quirks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a solid understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Must be based in Lahore and available to work on-site.
