Description:
We are seeking an experienced, conversion-focused Shopify Developer & UI/UX Specialist for an immediate, high-impact 30-Day Project Contract to finalize, audit, and optimize our storefront prior to our commercial market launch.
You will be responsible for taking our existing Shopify site through the final launch sprint—fixing all front-end bugs and UX friction points, setting up essential apps/plugins, integrating payment gateway APIs, managing full product catalog data entry, connecting tracking pixels, and executing technical/on-page SEO foundations.
Key Scope of Work & Deliverables (30-Day Sprint)
- Bug Fixing & UX/UI Optimization:
- Audit the entire website flow and fix all existing front-end layout bugs, mobile-responsiveness issues, and checkout friction points.
- Ensure a seamless "Single-Page Box Builder" and dynamic cart experience across all mobile and desktop devices.
- Payment Gateway API & Meta Pixel Integration:
- Integrate local payment gateway APIs (PayFast / Safepay / Bank Transfer verification flows) for secure, friction-free pre-payments.
- Connect and configure Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram), Google Analytics, and conversion tracking events.
- Shopify App & Plugin Setup:
- Install, configure, and test essential plugins based on brand requirements (e.g., Microsoft Clarity heatmaps, WhatsApp automated reminders/chat, SEO tools, and email marketing apps) without slowing down site speed.
- Technical & On-Page SEO Foundations:
- Implement clean URL structures, canonical tags, meta titles, meta descriptions, and Open Graph (OG) social preview tags across all pages.
- Set up JSON-LD Schema markup, optimize image alt tags, upload blogs, update structured FAQs, and establish initial backlink/indexing readiness.
- Product Data Entry & Catalog Setup:
- Perform complete SKU data entry—uploading high-resolution food photography, ingredient lists, dietary badges, age-category tags, and pricing across all product pages.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Location: Must be based in Karachi for on-site reviews and close founder coordination.
- Shopify Tech Stack: Deep proficiency in Shopify Liquid, custom CSS/HTML5, JavaScript, theme customization, and Shopify app integrations.
- UI/UX & CRO Mindset: Strong understanding of e-commerce user experience, mobile-first design, and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
- SEO & Analytics Literacy: Hands-on experience with technical SEO tags, canonical URL mapping, Google Search Console, and Meta Pixel setup.
- Execution Speed: Ability to work independently, troubleshoot technical issues rapidly, and complete all deliverables within a strict 30-day timeline.
