Shift Engineer

Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·        Perform and supervise all shift operation activities at Power Plant. Ensure the optimum operation of all equipment within prescribed operating parameters.

·        Coordination with NPCC in a shift as per requirement and Correspondence with NPCC & RCC as per EPA & in-house procedure.

·        To prepare & share all operational reports during season & off-season

·        Responsible to ensure safe Shutdown & Start-up of the Power Plant with synchronization of STG with the National Grid.

·        Co-ordination with all area operators for smooth operation

·        Check operation parameters of all associated systems and take preventive and corrective measures in case of any abnormality.
