Key Responsibilities:
On-Page SEO Execution
- Implement on-page SEO best practices across key pages, blogs, landing pages, and helpdesk articles
- Optimize meta titles, descriptions, headers, internal linking, image alt texts, and URL structures
- Collaborate with the content team to ensure keyword integration, search intent alignment, and EEAT elements in all content
- Update and maintain existing content based on SEO performance, seasonality, and search trend shifts
Technical SEO Support
- Conduct regular technical checks using tools like GSC, Screaming Frog, and PageSpeed Insights to identify and fix crawl errors, broken links, redirection issues, and indexation problems
- Assist the SEO Lead in implementing structured data (schema markup), canonical tags, and sitemaps
- Work closely with developers to flag and resolve technical SEO issues related to page speed, rendering, and mobile responsiveness
Keyword Research & Content Collaboration
- Conduct keyword research, topic clustering, and competitive analysis for blog posts, product pages, and new content opportunities
- Prepare SEO briefs and support content writers with optimized outlines and keyword-focused headings
- Help organize and expand topical clusters and pillar pages to strengthen domain-wide authority
Reporting & Tracking
- Monitor keyword rankings, traffic trends, backlink profile, and technical errors using Ahrefs, GSC, GA4, and Looker Studio
- Create weekly and monthly reports summarizing SEO performance, wins, and areas for improvement
- Track KPIs such as CTR, bounce rate, time on page, and conversions tied to SEO pages
Off-Page & Link Building Support
- Identify backlink opportunities through competitor link analysis, unlinked mentions, and relevant directories
- Assist with outreach efforts to acquire editorial backlinks, guest post placements, and partnership listings
- Track new backlinks, referring domains, and authority growth
GEO and AI-Search Optimization Support
- Format and tag content to be easily retrievable by AI engines like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Claude
- Assist the SEO Lead in testing generative engine optimization (GEO) strategies
- Stay updated on evolving SERP features and AI-powered search shifts to adjust metadata and content accordingly
International SEO & Localization Support
- Support execution of international SEO strategies including hreflang implementation and localized metadata updates
- Coordinate content and technical adjustments for region-specific landing pages and multilingual content rollouts
Cross-Team Collaboration
- Coordinate with the content, design, and dev teams to ensure all SEO recommendations are implemented
- Provide timely feedback to team leads and support the SEO Lead in enforcing SEO standards across all web assets
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 to 3 years of experience in SEO execution, preferably in a SaaS or digital product environment
- Strong grasp of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO principles
- Hands-on experience with tools like Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, SEMrush, SurferSEO, and PageSpeed Insights
- Familiar with keyword research, metadata optimization, and internal linking best practices
- Basic understanding of schema markup, HTML tags, and website architecture
- Comfortable working in CMS platforms like WordPress, Webflow, or HelpDocs
- Bonus: Exposure to international SEO or GEO (generative engine optimization) techniques
