Description:
As an SEO & eCommerce Growth Specialist, you will be responsible for driving organic growth across products, collections, blogs, and landing pages. You will work closely with content, marketing, and design teams to ensure our Shopify stores and websites deliver high-performance results across global markets.
Key Responsibilities
Technical SEO:
- Conduct regular SEO audits to identify and fix indexing issues, crawl errors, 404s, canonical issues, and schema-related errors.
- Implement structured data (JSON-LD) for improved SERP visibility.
- Maintain clean site architecture with optimized robots.txt and XML sitemaps.
On-Page Optimization
- Optimize product pages, collections, landing pages, and blogs for high-intent keywords.
- Rewrite/refresh meta titles, meta descriptions, and URL structures to enhance CTR and ranking.
- Ensure content follows SEO best practices and maintains brand tone.
Content Strategy
- Perform keyword research to identify content gaps.
- Create or guide content that is human-centered, SEO-friendly, and optimized for user intent.
- Collaborate with creative teams for content that drives engagement and conversions.
eCommerce Growth (Shopify-Focused)
- Optimize Shopify collections, fix indexing issues, and maintain product visibility.
- Implement out-of-stock redirects, improve navigation, and refine internal linking.
- Enhance user experience through data-driven insights and CRO recommendations.
Off-Page SEO
- Develop and implement white-hat backlink strategies.
- Increase domain authority through strategic outreach and link-building.
Geo-Targeting
- Deploy geo-specific strategies for regional markets (UK, EU, USA, AUS, etc.).
- Optimize content and keyword targeting for local audiences.
Analytics & Reporting
- Track and analyze performance through GA4, Google Search Console, and other SEO tools.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports on traffic, rankings, clicks, and revenue impact.
- Recommend strategies based on data insights.
Requirements (Must-Haves)
- Hands-on SEO experience (agency or in-house).
- Proven experience in eCommerce SEO, especially Shopify.
- Strong technical SEO knowledge: robots.txt, sitemaps, canonical tags, schema markup.
- Proficiency with: Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog.
- Ability to resolve indexing issues such as:
- Discovered – currently not indexed
- Crawled – currently not indexed
- Basic HTML/CSS knowledge for minor on-page adjustments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
