Senior Wordpress/magento Developer

Description:

Axle & Olio Solutions is looking for passionate Software Developer for development of their ecommerce platform and internal tools. 

We are looking for following skills:

Experience: 4 to 7 years

Location: Islamabad, Pakistan.

Qualifications: BS in Computer Science or similar degree

Core Technologies Experience:

Experience with web development frameworks like wordpress, Magento, prestashop Javascript, Jquery, CSS 

Frontend Theme customization

Plugin Development in wordpress

Experience in PHP Laravel, YII will be a big plus

Experience working with modern databases such as MariaDB, MySQL, SQL Server.

Experience of ECommerce industry will be preferred

To be successful in this role, you will need to:

Design and update software database. This includes, but is not limited to: Software Applications, Web Sites, Data Communication Processes and User Interfaces.

Test, maintain and recommend software improvements to ensure strong functionality and optimization.

Facilitate root cause analysis of system issues.

Work with experienced team members to conduct root cause analysis of issues, review new and existing code and/or perform unit testing.

Possess up-to-date knowledge of technological developments in the industry.

Possess strong problem solving and decision making skills while using good judgment.

Familiarity with using command line tools on Linux servers is a plus

Familiarity with using git for source control is a plus

Involvement in the open source community is a plus
