Description:

We are looking for an experienced Senior WordPress Developer with 3 to 5 years of experience in building and customizing WordPress-based websites, particularly in eCommerce and WooCommerce. The ideal candidate should have expertise in custom PHP development, plugin development, payment gateway integrations, and REST API development. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining high-performance WordPress solutions that align with business needs.

 

Key ResponsibilitiesWordPress Development & Customization:

 

● Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites with a focus on WooCommerce and eCommerce solutions.

● Build and modify custom WordPress themes and plugins to extend website functionalities.

● Ensure best practices in WordPress coding standards, performance optimization, and security.

● Implement and maintain custom post types, taxonomies, shortcodes, and widgets.

● Troubleshoot and debug WordPress issues, including theme and plugin conflicts.

 

Custom PHP Development & Plugin Creation:

● Write clean, well-structured, and reusable PHP code for custom functionalities.

● Develop and extend custom WordPress plugins as per project requirements.

● Modify and enhance existing plugins to improve performance and features.

 

WooCommerce & eCommerce Development:

● Set up and customize WooCommerce stores, including product pages, checkout processes, and order management.

● Develop custom WooCommerce extensions and functionalities to improve user experience.

● Implement advanced product filters, shipping rules, and dynamic pricing strategies.

● Troubleshoot WooCommerce issues related to themes, plugins, and third-party integrations.

 

Payment Gateway Integration:

● Integrate and customize payment gateways like PayPal, Stripe, Authorize.net, Razorpay, etc.

● Implement secure payment flows with transaction logging and fraud prevention measures.

● Debug and resolve payment-related issues in WooCommerce.

 

REST API & Third-Party Integrations:

● Develop, consume, and integrate RESTful APIs for third-party services and applications.

● Work with APIs for shipping, payment, CRM, ERP, and inventory management integrations.

● Create secure API endpoints for custom applications and mobile app integrations.

 

Performance Optimization & Security:

● Optimize website speed and performance using caching techniques (Redis, Memcached, WP Rocket, etc.).

● Improve website security by implementing proper sanitization, escaping, and authentication methods.

● Perform regular code audits, security patches, and vulnerability fixes.

 

Database & Server Management:

● Work with MySQL databases, optimizing queries and indexes for better performance.

● Migrate WordPress sites between different servers and environments.

● Set up and configure CDN, cloud hosting, and backups for high-traffic websites.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

✔ 3 to 5 years of professional experience in WordPress development.

✔ Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS3, and AJAX.

✔ Expertise in WooCommerce development, customization, and troubleshooting.
