Description:
Animaker Media is looking for a creative and experienced Short-Form Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong editing skills, a creative eye, and proven experience producing engaging short-form content for international audiences and clients.
This role requires someone who understands international content styles, audience preferences, pacing, storytelling, and social media trends. Experience limited to local content will not be considered sufficient for this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit engaging short-form videos for platforms such as Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other social media platforms.
- Transform raw footage, scripts, and creative briefs into polished, engaging videos.
- Create strong hooks, engaging pacing, transitions, captions, motion graphics, and visual effects.
- Edit content according to international audience expectations and client requirements.
- Maintain consistent quality, branding, and visual style across multiple projects.
- Work with international clients and adapt edits based on their feedback and creative direction.
- Manage multiple video projects while meeting agreed deadlines.
- Stay updated with international social media trends, editing styles, formats, and content practices.
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop new and engaging video concepts.
- Make revisions efficiently while maintaining the quality and intent of the original content.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in CapCut, Adobe After Effects, or both.
- Proven experience as a short-form video editor.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating creative, engaging, and high-quality social media content.
- Demonstrated experience editing content for international clients or audiences.
- Experience working with international clients, including understanding briefs, feedback, revisions, and deadlines.
- Strong understanding of short-form storytelling, pacing, hooks, captions, transitions, and visual retention.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Strong attention to detail and consistency.
- Good communication skills and responsiveness.
- Ability to work according to required international client time zones when necessary.
