Senior Video Editor

Description:

Nurel.pk is looking for an experienced Senior Video Editor to take ownership of our video content across social media, paid advertising and brand campaigns.

This is a creative decision-making role. We’re looking for someone who can understand the objective behind a piece of content, make strong creative decisions and turn raw footage or a basic idea into engaging, high-quality video.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of video editing and creative execution across Nurel’s content

• Edit short-form content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and paid campaigns

• Develop strong hooks, pacing, storytelling and retention-focused edits

• Work closely with the content and marketing teams on shoots, concepts and raw footage

• Create product, UGC, educational, testimonial and campaign videos

• Develop different creative angles, hooks and variations for testing

• Contribute ideas on how content should be presented, not just how it should be edited

• Maintain a consistent, premium visual standard across all video content

• Stay updated with current content trends, formats and editing styles

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of professional video editing experience

• Strong portfolio with commercial, social media, eCommerce or brand content

• Strong creative judgment and decision-making ability

• Excellent understanding of hooks, storytelling, pacing and audience retention

• Experience with performance marketing / video ads

• Proficiency in Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve or similar

• Ability to independently take a project from raw footage to final output

• Strong understanding of modern short-form content

• Experience with UGC and product-focused content is a plus

• Experience in eCommerce, FMCG, beauty, skincare or haircare is a plus

• Own capable laptop/workstation required
