Senior Video Editor

Description:

The Senior Video Editor will lead the end-to-end editing process for a variety of visual projects, including fashion content, event coverage, commercials, and digital campaigns. This full-time hybrid role is based in the Karachi Division, with a mix of on-site collaboration and some work-from-home flexibility. Day-to-day responsibilities include editing raw footage into cohesive narratives, performing advanced color grading, incorporating motion graphics and visual effects, and ensuring all deliverables meet brand and client guidelines. The Senior Video Editor will collaborate closely with producers, directors, and designers, provide creative input during pre-production and post-production, and help maintain consistent quality standards across multiple concurrent projects. The role also involves mentoring junior editors, managing project timelines, and optimizing workflows to meet deadlines.
Qualifications
 

• Strong video production skills, including experience handling footage from various cameras and formats.
• Advanced video editing skills with proficiency in industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve).
• Proficient in video color grading with an eye for tone, mood, and visual consistency.
• Motion graphics and graphics skills, preferably using tools such as Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, or similar applications.
• Demonstrated ability to craft clear visual stories, with attention to pacing, sound design, and overall viewer experience.
• Experience working on commercial, event, or fashion-related content is highly beneficial.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain quality under time constraints.
• Relevant education or training in film, media production, or a related field is a plus.
