We are actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Systems Developer / CloudOps Engineer specializing in AWS to join our dynamic team in Islamabad. The ideal candidate will have over five years of hands-on experience working within DevOps or cloud infrastructure environments, with a strong emphasis on AWS cloud services. This role requires an expert who is proficient in automating cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines to ensure scalable, secure, and efficient cloud operations.

As a Senior Systems Developer / CloudOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code tools such as Pulumi or Terraform. You will also play a critical role in creating and managing CI/CD pipelines, automating workflows, and ensuring seamless container orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes. Your scripting skills in Python and Bash will be essential for automation tasks and system management.

This position demands a proactive professional with deep knowledge of cloud best practices, infrastructure security, and deployment automation to optimize cloud performance and reliability. You will collaborate closely with development, operations, and security teams to build robust and scalable cloud solutions tailored to business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code tools like Pulumi or Terraform.

• Develop and maintain automated deployment pipelines (CI/CD) to enable rapid and reliable software delivery.

• Automate routine operational tasks using Python and Bash scripting.

• Manage containerization and orchestration platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes for scalable application deployment.

• Monitor cloud infrastructure performance and implement improvements to ensure high availability and cost efficiency.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cloud infrastructure solutions with development and security practices.

• Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure and deployment issues proactively.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in DevOps, CloudOps, or related roles.

• Extensive expertise with AWS cloud services including EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudFormation, IAM, and others.

• Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting for automation.

• Hands-on experience with Pulumi or Terraform for infrastructure-as-code management.

• Solid understanding and practical experience with CI/CD tools and methodologies.

• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
