Emblem Technologies is hiring for a Quality Assurance Specialist.
Working Experience: 4+ years
Responsibilities:
- Participate in the test automation tool selection process.
- Developed and executed automated test suites using COTS and custom tools;
- Integrate test suites into the test management system and custom test harnesses; and, Perform other testing-related duties as required.
- Work with the Development team to capture and reuse automated Unit Test Cases, Test Stubs and Drivers, and other Development test objects
- Participate in the Change Control Board to identify the quality implications of known bugs and the impact of proposed changes to product definition on the testing process.
- Work with the Release Engineering team to create and maintain an automated nightly build verification (“smoke”) test
Requirements:
- Overall 4 yrs. of experience in test automation frameworks i.e Selenium/Appium Automation, JUnit, TestNG.
- Familiarity with scripting and programming languages such as Python, Java, and JavaScript to create and maintain test scripts.
- Knowledge in SQL and tools like SQL Server, MySQL, or Oracle to validate data and perform backend tests.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a similar field.
- Previous experience working as a QA automation engineer
- Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks like BDD, DD or Hybrid.
- Working knowledge of CI/CD using Team city / Jenkins is a must.
- Hands on experience in developing robust automated scripts using Java/.Net programming
- Should have worked on using Selenium IDE, Web Driver, Remote Control, Grid and API
- Should have worked with Rest Assured, Postman and jMeter
- Must have knowledge of creating a release plan along with test scenario and test cases.
- Must possess ability to maintain run and manage test runs
- Hands on experience with test management tools like Jira.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders
