Senior Software Engineer

Codefinity Solutions is on the lookout for a highly driven and technically sound Senior MERN Stack Developer to take a leading role in building robust, scalable, and secure web applications. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end development of modern web applications using the MERN Stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js)

• Architect and implement RESTful APIs and microservices that are optimized for scalability and performance

• Manage database systems including MongoDB and PostgreSQL to ensure efficient data handling and secure transactions

• Implement DevOps practices such as CI/CD, containerization (Docker), and cloud deployment (AWS, DigitalOcean, etc.)

• Work closely with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes and mockups into responsive, dynamic interfaces

• Collaborate directly with clients, providing regular updates, understanding business requirements, and ensuring successful delivery

• Mentor junior developers, review code, and ensure best practices in clean code, documentation, and agile methodologies

• Continuously monitor application health, implement security best practices, and troubleshoot critical issues

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

• 2–3 years of proven experience working on MERN Stack-based web applications

• Proficiency in React.js, Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB

• Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL, microservices architecture, and DevOps workflows

• Experience with Git, Docker, Jenkins, or other CI/CD tools

• Strong communication skills for client interaction and team coordination

• Problem-solving mindset with a focus on clean, scalable, and secure code

• Familiarity with agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban
