Senior Software Engineer

Office Field is actively hiring an experienced and skilled Senior Software Engineer – Frontend (VueJS) to join their growing team in Karachi. This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about delivering high-quality frontend solutions by blending creative visual design with robust coding practices. As a key member of the development team, you will be responsible for building modern, responsive user interfaces and mentoring junior engineers, while contributing to the product vision and implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with product managers and backend engineers to conceptualize and implement intuitive software solutions.

• Design and develop the frontend architecture of web applications using VueJS to create visually appealing and highly responsive user interfaces.

• Provide mentorship and technical support to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

• Ensure all frontend solutions are optimized for performance and mobile responsiveness.

• Implement design systems and reusable components using best practices in semantic HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Consume RESTful APIs (JSON/XML) effectively while ensuring seamless data integration across the application.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.

• At least 3 years of experience in frontend development or a similar role, with a strong grasp of VueJS or ReactJS and core JavaScript principles.

• Proficient in semantic HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and JavaScript, with working knowledge of Tailwind CSS and frontend design accuracy (including color grading and proportional accuracy).

• Familiarity with design fundamentals including typography, layouts, and visual aesthetics tailored for the web.

• Hands-on experience with Git for version control and collaborative development.

• Experience in developing responsive, mobile-optimized web designs.

• Strong problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of software engineering best practices.
