Senior Software Engineer

Description:

A highly skilled Senior Software Engineer (MERN Stack – Backend Focus) is needed to develop and maintain scalable backend services using NestJS. The role requires extensive experience with PostgreSQL and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), as well as strong system design and architecture expertise. This position starts remotely but may transition to onsite in the future.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Develop and maintain scalable backend services using NestJS.
✅ Architect and design robust, high-performance, and secure systems.
✅ Work extensively with PostgreSQL, optimizing queries and ensuring data integrity.
✅ Leverage Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services to build and deploy cloud-native applications.
✅ Collaborate with frontend teams to ensure seamless API integration.
✅ Implement best practices for security, performance, and scalability.
✅ Lead technical discussions and mentor junior developers.

Requirements:

✔ 4+ years of experience in MERN stack development with a strong backend focus.
✔ Proficiency in NestJS and PostgreSQL.
✔ Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
✔ Strong knowledge of system design, architecture, and microservices.
✔ Experience in scalability, distributed systems, and API development.
✔ Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and DevOps practices.
✔ Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in an agile environment.
✔ Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Salary & Benefits:

💰 300000 - 500000 PKR Monthly (Based on Experience)
