The Team: The Workflow Automation team is responsible for digitization and automation across the Commodity Insights division. Using a hybrid of low-code/no-code platforms, we work collaboratively with colleagues from diverse backgrounds around the globe, fostering innovation and delivering scalable solutions that drive business transformation.
Responsibilities And Impact
- Design, architect, and develop highly scalable workflow automation solutions using platforms such as Appian, Power Platform, or similar low-code/no-code technologies
- Serve as a senior developer with hands-on involvement throughout the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Collaborate closely with Development Teams, Scrum Masters, and Product Owners to understand and clarify technical requirements
- Analyze complex technical issues, isolate root causes, and implement effective solutions
- Produce comprehensive system design documents and lead technical walkthroughs with stakeholders
- Champion best practices in governance, Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), and data security protocols
What We're Looking For Basic Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
- Proven experience with low-code/no-code platforms such as Appian, Power Platform, or similar workflow automation tools
- 5+ years of experience in application development using Java technologies or similar programming languages
- Strong expertise in JavaScript, database management, data structures, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
- Experience with web APIs and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) principles
