Job Responsibilities:
- Accurately and efficiently manage medical billing for various healthcare providers.
- Process claims, follow up on denials, and ensure timely resolution of billing issues.
- Verify insurance information and ensure proper coding of medical procedures.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance policies, healthcare regulations, and billing software.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing discrepancies and ensure timely payments.
- Communicate effectively with clients, insurance companies, and healthcare providers regarding billing inquiries.
Key Qualifications:
Proven experience in medical billing, with at least 2-3 years of relevant experience- .Strong understanding of medical billing codes (CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS), insurance policies, and healthcare regulations
- .Proficiency with medical billing software and electronic health record (EHR) systems
- .Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
