Ähdus Technology, a German-based deep-tech startup with a development wing in Pakistan, is actively hiring a Senior QA Engineer – Web & API Testing to join its team in Rawalpindi. The company specializes in IIoT, AI, Cloud DevOps, and innovative product development, creating world-class software solutions across various sectors.

This is a full-time role suited for a detail-oriented, technically sound individual who is passionate about quality assurance, user experience, and modern software practices. The role involves both manual and automated testing of web applications and APIs, contributing significantly to the stability, performance, and usability of the company’s products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts

• Conduct manual and automated testing for web and API interfaces

• Perform various types of testing: functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end

• Collaborate closely with developers and product teams, focusing on user experience

• Automate tests using Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium

• Conduct API testing with Postman or equivalent tools

• Participate in Agile development workflows including sprint planning and releases

• Support performance and load testing using JMeter or Locust

• Analyze test outcomes, identify bugs, and report with detailed recommendations

• Ensure all products meet stringent quality standards before launch

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of QA testing experience for web and backend systems

• Deep knowledge of QA methodologies and software testing processes

• Hands-on experience with API testing tools like Postman, Swagger, or scripting

• Proficiency in writing automated test scripts using JavaScript or Python

• Familiarity with test automation tools such as Cypress, Selenium, or Playwright

• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with technologies like Next.js, Node.js, and Python
