Senior Project Manager

In this role, you will play a crucial part in our company's growth and help us maintain our position as an innovative authority. You will be responsible for organizing, planning, and overseeing projects from start to finish, ensuring they are executed within budget and schedule constraints. Your leadership skills will be essential as you guide and motivate teams, define project goals, communicate with stakeholders, and see projects through to successful completion. Additionally, you will be entrusted with managing day-to-day project operations, including scope, schedule, finances, risk, quality, and resources.

As a project manager, you will oversee various initiatives, monitor their progress, and ensure they meet client expectations. A solid understanding of business cases and risk management processes, coupled with proven self-management and team-management skills, will be vital for success in this role. The ability to make informed decisions under pressure and effectively monitor and control project budgets is essential. Possessing a Project Management Professional (PMP) certificate would be a significant advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Determine and clearly define project scope and objectives.
• Anticipate resource requirements and manage resources efficiently and effectively.
• Develop a budget based on the scope of work and resource needs.
• Track project costs to ensure adherence to the budget.
• Provide consistent project updates to stakeholders regarding strategy, adjustments, and progress.
• Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers, including task assignment and communication of expected deliverables.
• Apply industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout the project's execution.
• Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments as needed.

Requirements and Skills:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the relevant field.
• Hands-on experience with WordPress is a must.
• Strong educational background, preferably in computer science or engineering for technical project managers.
• Solid technical background with a deep understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies.
• Ability to prepare comprehensive status reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information.
• Establish effective project communication plans and ensure their execution.
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Candidates with 2 years of development experience will be preferred.
