About the Role:

As a Senior PHP Developer, you will lead the design and development of high-performance applications, mentor team members, and drive best practices. You’ll play a key role in integrating complex healthcare systems using HL7, FHIR, and EDI.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead application development with PHP & CakePHP

2. Mentor mid-level and junior developers

3. Design scalable, secure software solutions

4. Implement complex third-party API integrations, including healthcare standards like HL7 & FHIR

5. Optimize database schemas and queries in MySQL

6. Champion CI/CD, testing, and performance tuning

Must-Have Qualifications:

1. 5+ years in PHP development, with 3+ years in a senior role

2. Expert in CakePHP, MVC, OOP, and MySQL

3. Strong experience in building scalable apps and RESTful APIs

4. Hands-on experience integrating third-party APIs

5. Knowledge of Git, Agile/Scrum, and modern workflows

Nice to Have (Preferred):

1. Experience in healthcare IT (EMR/EHR, RCM)

2. Familiarity with Laravel, Symfony, or modern JS frameworks (React/Vue)

3. Knowledge of Docker, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), or test automation
