Description:
We are looking for a skilled Regulatory & Research & Development Officer with proven experience in dermatology and medicated cosmetics. This role requires strong hands-on expertise in cosmetic formulation, dispensing, & compounding, along with regulatory compliance and documentation for dermal and healthcare products.
About the Role
Key Responsibilities
- Manage regulatory submissions, registrations, renewals, and approvals with relevant authorities (e.g., DRAP)
- Ensure full compliance with applicable laws and regulations for derma, medicated cosmetic, and healthcare products
- Prepare, review, and maintain regulatory dossiers, technical files, and product documentation
- Participate in R&D activities, including formulation development and improvement of medicated cosmetic products
- Develop, review, and maintain SOPs related to formulation, compounding, R&D, and regulatory compliance
- Conduct and document stability studies and prepare detailed stability study reports
- Ensure accurate product labeling in line with regulatory and compliance requirements
- Coordinate with regulatory authorities and respond to queries efficiently
- Provide regulatory and formulation support to internal teams
- Stay updated on changes in regulatory guidelines related to cosmetics, dermal, and healthcare products.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in regulatory affairs and/or R&D within healthcare, derma, or cosmetic products
- Strong dermatology background with hands-on experience in cosmetic formulation
- Practical experience in dispensing & compounding of medicated cosmetics
- Knowledge of medicated cosmetic preparation and related certifications
- Proven experience in SOP development and stability study documentation
- Solid understanding of labeling requirements and regulatory compliance
- Experience dealing with dermal products, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or medicated cosmetics
- Strong documentation, coordination, and communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in pharmacy, Medical related field (preferred)
