Value and Growth Advisory (VGA) is hiring a capable and detail-oriented Mobile Application Developer to join our product engineering team in Lahore. You will design, build, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications for iOS and Android, working primarily in Flutter or React Native.
This role sits at the intersection of product, design, and engineering. You will translate requirements into reliable, performant mobile experiences — and take direct ownership of what you ship. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter (Dart) or React Native (JavaScript / TypeScript)
- Implement UI designs with precision — ensuring visual consistency, responsiveness, and smooth interaction across screen sizes and OS versions
- Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party SDKs, handling async data flows and error states cleanly
- Profile and optimize app performance — addressing rendering bottlenecks, memory usage, and battery consumption
- Debug issues across iOS and Android using platform-native and cross-platform diagnostic tools
- Collaborate with designers to refine UX flows and with backend engineers to align on API contracts
- Participate in code reviews, uphold coding standards, and contribute to shared technical decisions
- Manage build, testing, and release processes for both the Google Play Store and Apple App Store
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional mobile application development experience
- Production-level proficiency in Flutter or React Native — with shipped apps to demonstrate it
- Strong command of RESTful API integration and asynchronous programming patterns
- Solid grasp of mobile UI/UX principles, Material Design, and Apple Human Interface Guidelines
- Hands-on experience with state management solutions such as BLoC, Provider, Riverpod, Redux, or MobX
- Comfortable working in Git-based workflows with structured branching and code review practices
- Proven ability to debug, profile, and resolve performance issues in production apps
- Experience managing end-to-end app releases on both major app stores
