Senior Mechanical Engineer

Description:

Jazari Steel is seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join its factory team based in Karachi, Pakistan. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in mechanical fabrication, production management, and quality control with a solid foundation in steel structure manufacturing and pipe fabrication processes.

As a key member of the engineering team, you will be responsible for overseeing mechanical fabrication projects, ensuring quality standards, managing production timelines, and coordinating with both the head office and clients. Your leadership skills and technical expertise will play a critical role in maintaining high performance and delivering successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the fabrication of large diameter pipes and steel structures

• Manage production activities and quality assurance processes

• Supervise UT-testing, welding procedures, and pipe fabrication workflows

• Coordinate project execution and maintain accurate daily reports for the head office and clients

• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards

• Support project planning and execution for mechanical fabrication jobs

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering

• 5–7 years of relevant experience in mechanical fabrication and project management

• Strong knowledge of steel structure fabrication and erection (optional but preferred)

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, documentation, and technical report writing

• Strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality work under pressure
