Leads all import operations, ensuring timely supply, cost control, regulatory compliance, strong external coordination, and effective team development to achieve business targets.
Job Duties
- Supervise all import operations to ensure timely coordination, smooth material flow, and uninterrupted support to production and business needs.
- Manage clearance, logistics, and delivery processes with a strong focus on achieving cost efficiency and meeting targeted landed factors.
- Develop and oversee yearly contracts with clearing agents, ports, and service partners to secure competitive commercial terms for the company.
- Prepare departmental budgets, annual business plans, and activity plans in alignment with organizational targets and performance objectives.
- Conduct feasibility assessments for dry port operations and evaluate cost structures for port authority and clearing agent agreements.
- Lead and execute cost-down initiatives and process improvement projects, ensuring timely completion and measurable efficiency results.
- Maintain close coordination and professional relationships with transporters, clearing agents, shipping lines, and government bodies (PEMA, FBR, NTC) for operational alignment and regulatory compliance.
Qualification: MBA Supply Chain
Experience: 10 to 15 Years (in One of the largest industries in Pakistan)
