As the Senior Manager of People Operations, you will strategically guide Motive's evolution as a high-performing global organization. You will lead and optimize all core HR operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and a positive employee experience throughout the entire lifecycle. This role requires a proactive leader who can drive innovation in HR technology and processes to support our continued expansion. You will also champion a collaborative and high-performing environment by leading and mentoring a dedicated team.
What You’ll Do
- Lead & Strategize: Oversee all core People Operations functions, ensuring alignment with Motive’s business strategy, compliance standards, and company values.
- Drive Operational Excellence: Design and implement scalable processes, policies, and systems that support efficiency, consistency, and a best-in-class employee experience.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a growing People Operations team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Optimize Systems: Partner with IT, Finance, and other cross-functional teams to enhance system integrations, automation, and data accuracy across HR platforms.
- Service Model Innovation: Build and refine the HR service delivery model to improve accessibility, responsiveness, and employee satisfaction.
- Knowledge Management: Oversee the creation and maintenance of an intuitive HR knowledge base; explore AI-powered tools to enhance content delivery and employee self-service.
What We’re Looking For
- 8+ years of progressive experience in People Operations, HR, or related functions, including 5+ years of people management experience.
- Proven success leading operational improvements that drive efficiency, scalability, and engagement in a high-growth or global organization.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Experience with Workday or similar HRIS platforms; expertise in optimizing systems and workflows.
- Deep understanding of employment laws, compliance, and HR best practices across multiple regions (U.S. and global experience preferred).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills — able to influence across all levels of the organization.
