We are expanding our engineering team and looking for a Senior Laravel Developer to take technical ownership of core projects. You will help define architecture, guide junior developers, and lead the development of scalable web systems that impact thousands of users.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and maintain high-performance web applications using Laravel (v9–11) and modern PHP.
- Design clean, reusable, and scalable codebases, following SOLID, MVC, and DRY principles.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs, third-party services, and internal microservices.
- Lead module ownership from concept to deployment — ensuring performance, security, and scalability.
- Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and project managers for end-to-end solution delivery.
- Review code, enforce best practices, and mentor junior engineers to raise team standards.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines, automate deployments, and optimize system performance.
- Stay updated on Laravel ecosystem advancements and propose improvements to architecture and process.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of professional experience in PHP, with 3+ years using Laravel in production environments.
- Strong grasp of OOP, Eloquent ORM, Service Container, Middleware, Queues, and Events.
- Expertise in MySQL / PostgreSQL — schema design, indexing, and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with Redis/Memcached, Laravel Sanctum/Passport, and modern API authentication.
- Working knowledge of Vue.js / React, Blade, and TailwindCSS for full-stack collaboration.
- Proficiency in Git, Composer, Postman, and deployment workflows (Forge, Envoyer, CI/CD).
- Knowledge of ERP development will be a strong plus.
- Experience with AWS, DigitalOcean, or containerized deployments (Docker) preferred.
