Senior Financial Consultant

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Financial Consultant to lead our equity fundraising efforts. The ideal candidate will have a proven, *prior* track record of successfully securing funding for software companies, with a strong understanding of equity financing and experience in preparing compelling documentation for fundraising. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of navigating the complexities of the fundraising landscape. The consultant will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive fundraising strategy, managing the entire fundraising process, and securing investment.

Compensation will include a fixed fee for services rendered, plus a success-based percentage of the total funds raised.

Responsibilities:

* Develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy aligned with the company's goals and portfolio.

* Prepare detailed financial models, projections, and valuation analyses.

* Create and refine investor-facing materials, including pitch decks, executive summaries, and due diligence documents.

* Identify, target, and engage with potential investors, including venture capital firms, angel investors, and private equity groups.

* Lead and manage the fundraising process, from initial outreach to closing the deal.

* Negotiate terms and conditions with potential investors, ensuring favorable terms for the company.

* Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and legal requirements.

* Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential investment opportunities and trends.

* Provide regular progress reports to the executive team.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
