Senior Embedded Software Engineer

Description:

DreamBig Semiconductor Inc. is seeking an expert Senior Embedded Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain firmware for cutting-edge semiconductor products. In this role, you will work on real-time embedded platforms, writing highly optimized C/C++ code for bare-metal and RTOS-based systems.

You will interact closely with hardware engineers to bring up new boards, develop bootloaders, device drivers, communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART), and implement low-power and performance-critical firmware.

Candidates must have deep knowledge of embedded microcontrollers (ARM Cortex-M/R/A series), debugging tools (JTAG, SWD), and performance tuning techniques. Familiarity with version control (Git), build systems (CMake/Make), and CI pipelines is highly preferred.

As a senior engineer, you will be expected to lead technical efforts, guide junior developers, conduct design reviews, and contribute to architectural decisions. This role is critical to driving system-level innovation across our embedded platforms.
