Description:
We're looking for a Senior Dispatch Manager to run our order dispatch operation from warehouse to doorstep. You'll make sure orders are packed accurately, handed to couriers on time, tracked through delivery, and that returns and COD payments are handled smoothly. You'll report to Operations Manager.
What you'll do
- Manage daily order dispatch so all confirmed orders leave the warehouse the same or next day
- Oversee picking, packing, and labeling, and keep wrong or damaged shipments to a minimum
- Coordinate with courier partners such as TCS, Leopards, PostEx, M&P, Trax, and Call Courier
- Choose the right courier by city, cost, and delivery performance
- Stay closely aligned with the production team on order timelines and ready stock, so made-to-order and new items are finished on schedule and dispatched without delay
- Track shipments and follow up on delayed, stuck, or lost parcels
- Reduce failed deliveries and RTO (return-to-origin) on COD orders
- Reconcile COD payments with couriers and flag any short or missing amounts
- Handle returns and exchanges, including receiving, checking, and restocking items
- Coordinate with inventory to keep stock levels accurate and avoid dispatching out-of-stock orders
- Prepare daily and weekly reports on orders dispatched, delivery rate, RTO %, and courier performance
- Plan ahead for sale periods and peak seasons.
What you bring
- 4+ years of experience in ecommerce dispatch, fulfillment, or logistics
- Strong working knowledge of Pakistani courier companies and their portals
- Experience handling COD orders and courier payment reconciliation
- Familiarity with Shopify or a similar ecommerce platform
- Good Excel / Google Sheets skills
- Organized and calm under pressure, especially during high-volume days
