Position: Senior Data Engineer (6-7 Years Experience)

Role Overview
We are seeking a Data Engineering Manager with 6-7 years of experience to lead the design and delivery of scalable data platforms. This role blends hands-on data engineering, technical leadership, and people management.

Key Responsibilities:
· Design and maintain scalable batch and streaming data pipelines.
· Own the end-to-end data lifecycle from ingestion to consumption.
· Lead development of cloud-based data warehouses and data lakes.
· Ensure data quality, reliability, monitoring, and optimization.
· Review code, enforce best practices, and guide architectural decisions.
· Collaborate with Analytics, Product, and Engineering teams to deliver business insights.
· Mentor and manage a team of Data Engineers, including planning, reviews, and hiring.

Required Skills:
· Strong SQL, data modeling, and Python experience.
· Hands-on experience with Spark/Databricks and modern ETL/ELT tools.
· Experience working on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
· Solid understanding of distributed data systems.
· Familiarity with CI/CD and version control.
· BI tools (Power BI, Looker, Tableau)
· Streaming platforms (Kafka, Event Hubs)
· Agile/Scrum experience


Leadership & Soft Skills:
· Experience leading or mentoring engineers.
· Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
· Ability to balance technical work with team leadership.
· Strong problem-solving and delivery ownership.

Experience & Education:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
6-7 years of Data Engineering experience, including 1–2 years in a leadership role.
