Senior Consultant

Description:

We’re looking for a PostgreSQL-certified DBA to support critical operations at one of our client. This is a hands-on role requiring strong expertise in PostgreSQL, performance tuning, and high-availability setups.

🔧 Key Responsibilities:

Manage, monitor, and optimize PostgreSQL databases (focus on pgpool v11)

Must have strong knowledge of backup and recovery procedures

Implement security measures: encryption, access control, audit logging

Configure replication, clustering, and failover for 99.9% uptime

Apply patches/updates ensuring compatibility with pgpool/custom setups

Support cross-database work in MySQL and Oracle

Collaborate with application teams for smooth integration

Maintain clear documentation under local DBA lead

Familiarity with Financial Sector operations is a plus

✅ Requirements:

PostgreSQL certification with 5+ years of experience

Strong knowledge of backup/recovery, pgpool, replication, and security

Familiarity with MySQL and Oracle

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Ability to perform under pressure in a 24/5 environment
