Senior Business Development Manager

 

Description:

As the Sr. Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving our growth strategy and expanding our client base. Your primary focus will be on developing and implementing strategies to generate new business opportunities, with a strong emphasis on cold email marketing and Linkedin as the primary lead generation channel. You will lead a talented team of business development professionals, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure they meet and exceed their targets.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership:

- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy that aligns with the company's growth objectives.

- Identify new market opportunities, niches, and trends to stay ahead of the competition.

- Provide visionary leadership to the business development team, inspiring them to achieve and exceed targets.

 

2. Lead Generation:

- Oversee and optimize the cold email marketing and LinkedIn strategy to generate high-quality leads.

- Implement effective lead nurturing and conversion processes to turn leads into clients.

- Continuously monitor and analyze lead generation efforts, making data-driven adjustments as needed.

 

3. Team Management:

- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing business development team, fostering a culture of excellence and achievement.

- Set clear performance expectations and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to team members.

- Manage team resources, including workload distribution and goal setting.

 

4. Client Engagement:

- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their evolving needs and ensuring exceptional client satisfaction.

- Collaborate with the client services and project management teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and project delivery.

 

5. Market Research and Analysis:

- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitors.

- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and industry-specific opportunities.

 

6. Reporting and Analytics:

- Monitor and report on business development KPIs and metrics.

- Utilize data insights to refine strategies and make informed decisions.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT or a related field combination (Master's degree preferred).

- Proven track record of success in business development, with a focus on cold email marketing and LinkedIn.

- Strong leadership and team management experience.

- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.

- Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.

- Knowledge of the software development industry and emerging trends.
