Description:
Our Client is a well-established Islamic banking institution in Bahrain seeking a commercially astute Senior Business Analyst with hands-on T24 core banking expertise. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in analysing, documenting, and delivering banking system requirements within a Shariah-compliant environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyse, and document detailed business requirements for core banking initiatives and system enhancements.
- Serve as the subject matter expert on T24 (Temenos) core banking system configuration, workflows, and module functionality.
- Translate complex banking and operational requirements into structured BRDs (Business Requirements Documents) and functional specifications.
- Liaise between business stakeholders, IT teams, and senior management to ensure accurate and timely delivery of solutions.
- Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing), system integration testing, and go-live activities.
- Conduct gap analysis to identify process improvement opportunities within core banking operations.
- Ensure all solutions and processes comply with Islamic banking principles and Bahrain regulatory standards.
- Provide ongoing support and training to internal teams on T24 functionality and system updates.
Required Experience & Skills
- 3+ years of business analysis experience within the banking or financial services sector.
- Hands-on expertise in T24 (Temenos) core banking system is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of Islamic banking products, principles, and Shariah-compliant structures.
- Proven ability to produce structured BRDs, use cases, and functional specifications.
- Solid knowledge of core banking workflows, system integrations, and data flows.
- Familiarity with Bahrain Central Bank (CBB) regulatory requirements is an advantage.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Must be available to work onsite in Manama, Bahrain.
