Senior Business Analyst

 

Description:

Melior is seeking an experienced Business Analyst (4–5 years) to join our team. The role focuses on analyzing business needs, collaborating with solution architects, and bridging the gap between business operations and technology. Key responsibilities include working with stakeholders to translate business requirements into functional IT specifications, providing insights to enhance workflows, and driving operational efficiency.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Business Requirements Analysis:

 

  • Conduct research and analysis in the business domain to identify available solutions for customer challenges.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document requirements.
  • Analyze processes to find IT-based improvement opportunities.
  • Align business needs with IT capabilities and resources.
  • Manage third-party integrations and map processes.
  • Work with technical teams to design and implement solutions.
  • Translate business needs into technical specs for development.
  • Facilitate software customization and configuration.
  • Support implementation through demos, testing, and user acceptance.

 

Process Optimization and Stakeholder Support:

 

  • Identify and address inefficiencies through IT-driven improvements and automation.
  • Map, document, and enhance business processes for greater efficiency.
  • Act as a liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring effective communication.
  • Provide expertise during system implementations, upgrades, and issue resolution.
  • Support user training to ensure successful adoption of new systems and workflows.

 

Research & Development (R&D) Responsibilities:

 

  • Conduct market, industry, and competitor research to identify trends, opportunities, and best practices.
  • Analyze emerging technologies, tools, and methodologies relevant to business growth and process improvement.
  • Evaluate and recommend enhancements in products, services, and internal systems based on data and user feedback.
  • Research and support the development of new business models, workflows, and operational strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess feasibility and impact of new initiatives.
  • Develop business cases and feasibility reports for proposed projects or innovations.
  • Support pilot testing, data analysis, and post-implementation review of R&D initiatives.

 

Reporting and Documentation:

 

  • Prepare and maintain detailed documentation, including High-Level Scopes, SOWs, functional specifications, process maps, and user guides.
  • Generate and analyze reports, such as Project Status Reports, to provide stakeholders with insights into system performance, usage, and business outcomes.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s in Business Administration, Economics, Commerce, ACCA, or related fields.
  • 4–5 years of experience in IT business analysis, ERP systems, and solution design.
  • Proven track record in managing requirements, process analysis, and software implementation, including multiple international IT projects.
  • Successful completion of at least 4 mid-sized or 2 large-scale IT projects with Go-Live.
