Description:
We’re looking for two Senior Backend Developers with strong DevOps experience to join our growing team and contribute to several exciting new projects.
This is an initial 12-month contract with a strong view to extend based on project outcomes and team fit.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop robust backend services using JavaScript/TypeScript and Java.
- Build and deploy serverless and containerized applications on AWS.
- Implement event-driven and real-time data streaming architectures.
- Manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform.
- Collaborate on DevOps practices to streamline CI/CD and cloud operations.
Essential Experience
- Minimum 5 years of backend development experience.
- Proven DevOps engineering experience (Terraform preferred).
- Strong expertise in Java backend development.
- Hands-on experience with AWS (serverless and container-based architectures).
- Solid understanding of backend architecture, databases, and authentication.
- Proficiency in API design, management, and best practices.
- A collaborative mindset and proactive approach to enabling team success.
Nice to Have
- Experience with NestJS, Express.js, or Spring Boot.
- Familiarity with GraphQL, Kubernetes, or Serverless Framework.
- Prior experience with international or remote teams.
